We create award-winning reusable bottles and cups, with every product sold funding the collection of 1000 plastic bottles in weight - before they reach the ocean. What you’ll be doing:
As we approach the next stage of growth, we’re looking for a US Promo Account Manager to join our Commercial team. The purpose of this role is to be the main point of contact for our wholesaler and distributor account managers in the US.
We have a joint approach in the market:
Wholesale: with our two wholesale partners your focus will be working with their account managers to support them and their conversations with distributors to drive core and bespoke sales. Representing Ocean Bottle at wholesaler events and on relevant team meetings.
Distributors: we also directly support distributors. Here you will represent Ocean Bottle at key distributor events and shows they run, building direct relationships with account managers and being their point of contact across the full Ocean Bottle proposition.
Additionally, you will be:
Building revenue-driving relationships across the wholesaler and distributor account managers
Utilising the right elements of our proposition to position Ocean Bottle as the product to propose
Understand and be able to position our proposition to end brands and companies. This is not just ‘another retail water bottle’
Own the order process even through 3rd parties
Accurately maintain your busy pipeline of opportunities in HubSpot
Support the Head of Promo in the ongoing development of the approach to promo in the US
Bring a structured and strategic sales methodology to the work you do
Identify opportunities to improve our operations, processes, and systems to unlock further growth
Identify areas where we could accelerate growth and what would be needed to achieve this
Representing Ocean Bottle with impact, enthusiasm, and clarity across both customer and internal stakeholder conversations
Travel up to 25%

Job requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
5+ years of experience in commercial sales roles with a focus on both key account management and fast-turn sales via distributors or resellers
Experience working with (or for) a promotional merchandise distributor / agency. A US network is a plus
A natural ability to lead by example, inspire confidence, and bring a high-performance mindset to those around you
A strong commercial mindset, a focus on short term wins while progressing longer term large opportunities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage senior buyers and stakeholders
Advanced CRM knowledge (preferably HubSpot), including pipeline management and reporting
Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling commercial operations

What good looks like:
Quickly utilise Ocean Bottles' proposition, supply chain / stock and existing relationships to drive sales out on core line and initiate larger custom opportunities.
Proactively develop and execute tailored growth plans for each key account, identifying new ways to drive focus on Ocean Bottle filling the pipeline with qualified and winnable opportunities.
Build and nurture strong relationships with account managers, ensuring partners feel supported, valued, and aligned with Ocean Bottle’s mission and goals
Always connect the commercial opportunity back to positive environmental and social impact, helping partners unlock the power of their purchase beyond the product
